There is the possibility to change clothes for all cosplayers, if necessary. Heroesdome provides special changing rooms for this purpose.Do you have to wait? Then mind your environment and give others space and be patient. Besides the rules for Cosplayers in our General Regulations, we would like to give you a few pointers. We look forward to seeing you at the Heroesdome and will do everything to make you feel comfortable. We expect nothing less from you as well.

Deodorant:

You might not always think about it, but make sure you smell pleasant. Cosplayers are able to use a ladies’ and men’s dressing room during the Heroesdome. Freshen up nicely, take time for yourself and if you give permission for a photo or video, it is also more pleasant for the visitor. You can walk around as a zombie, but do not have to smell like that.Photo or video?
As a cosplayer, YOU are the person to allow a picture or video to be taken with you. So clearly show what you do or do not like. Report unwanted behavior in order for Heroesdome’s organization to assist you. For more information we also refer you to our general regulations.

Heroesdome wants to give cosplayers the feeling that they can be safe and safely take part in our event.

Take responsibility yourself
For the general house rules we refer you to this page.

If you are a cosplayer, remember that you represent a character that is cherished by fans. Do not do or say anything that affects the representation of such a character. Also keep in mind that minors are walking around.

Do not grab their weapons or other props without permission from a co-cosplayer. As a cosplayer you have to understand better than anyone else that a lot of work is put into costumes, weapons and props. You would not want someone to accidentally break your prop. In short, if it is not yours, do not touch it without asking!

Cosplaying is open to everyone, not just for people with elaborate and expensive costumes. Everyone has the right to cosplay and not to be harassed by the impression, appearance and quality of his costume or character. Chill and give each other friendly tips.

Do not take up all the time of the visiting cosplayers. Others also want a meaningful experience. Go with the flow! Admire each other and keep a healthy distance from each other. Specifically: do not act as the ‘creep’. Do not scare visitors unnecessarily if your costume is overwhelming and impressive.

As far as your weapons are concerned, we refer you to our general house regulations and finally we think it is important to tell you that you need to take good care of yourself.

Make sure that you drink plenty of water all day and of course take a moment to eat something in due time. Especially when you think there is a possibility to overheat in your costume, drinking is very important. A first aid with three Jokers, five Catwomen and nine Spider-men is also a shock to us. We understand your dedication to your character, but fainting in the middle of the convention does not do anything for you nor your character. Also make sure you eat healthy and on time because an empty stomach also makes people irritable and moody. A grumpy Gandalf scares people off. 😉
